Here are some more of the pictures of the kitchen and the installation of the fridge:
Home Depot Delivery Truck arrives at 6:30am – 18 Wheeler Comerical Truck
Home Depot will only deliver to purchase onto your driveway, so the guy was nice enough to leave in front of the garage so that we could move the fridge into the garage.
Dismantling of the old fridge, in which the town of Rocky Hill will pick up on Monday for us
Anne, Nate and I were able to bring the fridge into the house, while Karen was out getting Nate breakfast!
Here Nate and I are trying to lineup to the fridge to determine if it will fit into its hole!
After lining up the fridge for where it is suppose to go, we found that some extra triming needed to be done.
And that was just that start of things to come.
Here the countertop needed to be trimmed twice, the first time was 1/4″ inch and the second time was 1 1/2″ inches.
This included that the door to the deck needed to be taken off including the hinges.
For awhile I thought that we could swap the door from inside to outside and found that, that would not work.
So we had to put the door back.
Then after several more attempts, found that the walls were not straight and that the cabinet needed to be trimmed more than originally thought.
I had already trimmed the bottom of the upper cabinet approx. 1 inch on three sides and now i needed to trim the left cabinet side wall approx. 2 inches.
You can see here that the fridge finally fit, but that the cabinet to the left needs some work.
Including that we need to redesign the inside of the cabinet and the door.
Which will be done in the coming week or weekend.
The next three pictures are those of Anne’s taking and that there is food in the fridge.
