Here are pictures that I have taken while in Atlanta, GA on a Criminal Justice Technology Conference:
This is Centennial Olympic Park:
This is on the outside of Centennial Olympic Park, next to the Georgia Aquarium; this is going to be the next location (2007) for the “World of Coca Cola”:
Georgia Aquarium – i did not get a chance to tour but heard that they have the world’s largest underground or side by side tank for watching either fish or whale.
I think that it was the whale think or something…
Next to Centennial Olympic Park is the “CNN Center”, the world headquarters:
You can take a tour, which is about 1 hour long, though you can only take pictures in the first part.
Everything is off limits as far as taking pictures, because when you are touring, the CNN Staff are live on TV and such…
This is me, reading off of the teleprompter and sitting at the desk, with the green screen to my left, for the weather analysis.:
As I was walking through ATL, i passed this construction site many many many times, so i thought that I would take a picture!!!!:
I did take the ATL subway to get to the World of Coca Cola, and I had the camera in my hands, so here are a couple of pics:
The subway system is all computerized and HUGE, they even have televisions while your sitting and waiting for the next stop.
Plus the subway is extremely clean and you can actually understand the person over the speakers as to what your next stop is.
(Boston and New York need to take notes on this!!!):
It only took me, 30 minutes to find this place, which is great, once you get to it.
Later I went back and it only took me 10 minutes, because i now know how to get there.
It is very nice inside and trying all of the different flavors of Coke is pretty neat, though i know there are more flavors of Coke, that did not have on display for tasting.:
